Scoutbound operates on public property data sourced from county assessor records, satellite imagery, and publicly available real estate databases. We do not purchase, sell, or trade personal information. Our AI filters properties based on structural characteristics visible from satellite imagery—roof age, condition, and property dimensions—to identify qualified prospects for roofing services.

When you use Scoutbound, we collect information about your account, territory selections, and campaign performance. This data helps us improve targeting accuracy and provide you with measurable results. We do not share your customer lists, response data, or business metrics with third parties without explicit consent.

Privacy policy

Scoutbound respects your privacy and operates in full compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, TCPA regulations, and state-level privacy laws. Our platform uses encrypted connections to protect all data in transit and at rest.

You retain full ownership of your territory selections, customer responses, and campaign results. We use your data only to deliver the service you've contracted for—identifying qualified properties and managing mail fulfillment. We do not use your data for marketing purposes, and we do not sell access to your territory or customer information.

Terms of service

By using Scoutbound, you agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that your roofing business complies with all local licensing requirements, insurance obligations, and state contractor regulations. Scoutbound provides the targeting and fulfillment infrastructure; you are responsible for the quality and legality of your sales practices.

Campaigns are non-refundable once letters have been printed and mailed. Territory exclusivity is honored only within the Domination tier and applies only to the specific zip codes you've locked. Pilot Program purchases are one-time and do not renew automatically.

Compliance

Scoutbound uses only public data. Property information comes from county assessor databases, which are public record. Satellite imagery is sourced from commercial providers and is publicly available. We do not use private databases, hacked data, or any information obtained illegally.

Our mail fulfillment complies with USPS regulations and CAN-SPAM requirements. Every letter includes clear identification of the sender, a physical return address, and opt-out instructions. We do not send unsolicited mail to addresses marked as "do not mail" in public registries.
